Blue is the colour of your voice. Not just the words you say, but the way you connect. The way you show up. The way you let people be part of you.

When did you last really speak to someone? Not text. Not scroll past their life online. Actually talk. Actually connect.

We're so used to communicating through screens - quick messages, emojis, likes - that we forget what it feels like to hear someone's voice. To see their face. To laugh at the same time instead of reacting with a thumbs up three hours later.

The Blue Connection Challenge

Today, connect with someone properly. Not through text. Through voice or video.

Call someone. FaceTime them. Set up a video chat. If you can meet in person, then that's even better.

It doesn't have to be long. Ten minutes. Twenty. Just enough to hear their voice, see their face, feel the connection that comes from actually being present with another human.

Ask them how they really are. Tell them something real about yourself. Laugh together. Listen properly.

Blue is about motivation too - sometimes we need other people to remind us why we keep going. Connection fuels us. It reminds us that we're not alone.

Washing in The Blue Lagoon Ritual

The Blue Lagoon. A place of cleansing. Where we wash away sadness, grief, old patterns. Where we let the water take what we don't need any more.

At some point today stand under the shower, run a bath, or just wash your hands mindfully with cold water.

As the water runs, imagine it washing away the sadness, the grief, the old patterns you've been carrying. The loneliness. The disconnection. The feeling that you have to do it all alone.

Let it go down the drain.

You're allowed to connect. You're allowed to need people. You're allowed to express yourself and be heard.

Blue doesn't ask you to be eloquent or profound. It just asks you to show up and speak.

Today I'm spending time with my Zumba pals - out in the wild, celebrating Christmas and Yule together. Real people. Real laughter. Real connection.
