And just like that - BLUE became INDIGO while I wasn't looking!
I have just realised I haven't posted in here since 23rd July... Oops. So sorry!
But perhaps there's something really lovely about that, because August was the Blue month of CONNECTION, and instead of just talking about interacting, I seem to have spent the month actually doing it.
I've been out and about in the real world, and it’s not quite as scary as I remember. I’ve been talking to actual humans. Running Colour Journeys and Moon workshops. Meeting new people at events. Having conversations about SoulBathing and where it might travel next. Watching people connect with colour, with each other, and really living my colour journey ~ IRL.
On 28 August I ran a last minute cosy Lunar Eclipse gathering for 10 people, which turned out to be rather special. In the Shadow of the Full Moon at Eaden’s Bar 2 in Mapplewell, Barnsley - We spent some time in Black: CHAOS, exploring the idea of the eclipse and our own shadows. We released something we were ready to stop carrying, journeyed deep into my Black Ocean, and instead of choosing a colour, we waited to see which colour found us.
We made Moon Water Jars - ready to charge our water with the chaotic energy of the eclipse, when the light hasn't actually disappeared, it's simply obscured for a little while.
Then at the end of August, I had a stand at the Mind Body & Soul Fayre in Bingley, 29 people joined me for a Colour Journey. Twenty-nine! And one of my favourite things wasn't just what happened during the journey, it was watching people chatting afterwards and making connections of their own - particularly with my gorgeous Soul Spectrum Emotion-Potions.
And now we've meandered into INDIGO: CLARITY.
Which feels rather timely. Because clarity isn't about having all the answers. Sometimes it's finally being able to see what's been there all along. What's working. What's draining us. What matters. What doesn't anymore. What we want more of.
So that's what I'd like us to explore together this month.
Has anything become clearer, obvious or brighter for you recently?
It doesn't have to be mega profound. Maybe you've realised you need a change. Maybe you've discovered something you want more of. Maybe you've finally said no to something. Or perhaps you're still sitting in the fog and waiting for something to come into focus.
My Blue month showed me that I need more real-life connection, more shared experiences and more opportunities to bring people together through colour and now Indigo says let’s find simplicity.
Personally there is a rather BIG thing we're trying to find some clarity around at the moment...
Some of you will have heard me talk about my Red House over the years. Red is COMFORT in my Soul Spectrum. Home. Belonging. Hiraeth. That feeling of this is where I'm meant to be.
Well... we have actually put our house on the market and we're searching for our very own Red House.
Not a bigger house. In fact, probably quite the opposite. We're looking at what happens if we go smaller to dream bigger. Less mortgage, less pressure, more freedom, more creativity, more adventures and perhaps, eventually, a little more space for some of the things I've been dreaming about creating.
And it's already proving to be quite a rollercoaster of a journey.
We've fallen in love with houses we haven't even viewed, changed our minds about where we want to live, questioned the whole idea approximately 847 times and we're now heading towards a viewing that could be a rather interesting one... fingers crossed
I've been wondering whether to share some of that journey here in The Coven too.
