Green Nails, Tent Tales & Taxi Confessions: A Colour Witch Catch-Up

After a whirlwind of events, a second weekend in a tent, and a 22-mile conversation with the most enthusiastic taxi driver in the North, I’ve finally had a few days off - and my body (and brain) are thanking me for it.
Let’s rewind…
WOW Gathering Magic
Thirteen gorgeous souls joined me for a Sensory Colour Journey at WOW - each one connecting with the Soul Ranger colour fragrances in a way that was deep, personal, and powerful. We laughed, cried, breathed, and shared. Some left with sprays, candles, or books. All left smiling.
Huge thanks to Lauren Freeman and her wonderful husband Sam for creating the Soul Ranger room sprays, oils and candles that helped bring the whole journey to life. Their energy and care is infused in every single drop.
Sound & Scent Alchemy
Linda from Mystical Moon Holistics and I collaborated on a chakra-inspired soundbath using the Soul Ranger scents - and the energy we created together was pure magic. We’d first tried it at VanLife Fest (where Linda stepped in last-minute), but WOW was when it fully clicked.
The Great Middlesbrough Rescue
Getting to the Wolf and Witch Night Market was its own adventure. Debs, a fellow trader (who had already set up her stall of fabulous homemade watercolour paints! synchronicity eh?) came to rescue me and drive me over. Hero status officially awarded.
The taxi ride back? 22 miles of non-stop storytelling. I now know everything from the driver’s cholesterol levels to his nan’s opinion on electric toothbrushes.
Tent Life, Round Two
With having a wonderful campervan - I'm not used to sleeping in a tent - and I did it two weekends in a row. Officially a seasoned field witch now. No gazebo rodeo this time (too windy to even try putting one up), but the wild skies added their own magic to the beautiful Sentry Circle in Northallerton.
This Week's Recovery & Rhythm
The last few days have been quiet, sacred days off. Monday, I ran my creative wellbeing session at Sustain and met an old friend who wanted a copy of my book. No spells, no spreadsheets, just sitting in the sun and stillness. Tuesday, I jumped back into rhythm - hopped on the train (car still poorly!) to make it to my regular Zumba class, and had my July nails done in Soul Ranger Green 💚
Each month I wear the colour from my book as part of my own energy practice - and July is all about Green: the heart, healing, balance, and growth. Honestly, I’m soaking it in.
What’s Next...
More workshops. More magic. More deep breaths. And hopefully a mended car.
Thanks to everyone who’s joined me recently - in fields, in circles, in colour-soaked conversations. You’re part of the spell.
May you turn your darkness into light, your chaos into calm, and your feelings into your fiercest kind of magic.
With rainbow love (and gratitude to Northern Rail),
Raychel x
