Witchy Wellbeing in Wakefield!
There’s something about Newmillerdam, on the outskirts of Wakefield, that keeps calling me back. The lake, the trees, the laughter of the ducks, the smell of the forest floor, and the moseying through the woodlands with the dog - getting muddy.
So I wanted to let you know about two magical get-togethers that I have planned, both in venues located around the lake, but with very different energies.
First up, we have my Full Moon Workshop at The Boathouse Newmillerdam.
Tuesday 3rd March: 2.30pm and 6pm
A chance to take a moment, be creative and embrace the wonderful energies of the full worm moon. There are two sessions, one in the afternoon, where we will paint a jute bag that can be used to carry a small journal, your moon water or a pack of oracle cards. The second, in the early evening, we will create your very own Moon Water vessel - followed by a Luna ritual and release.
These moon sessions are all about the pause and letting the nervous system catch up. All equipment is included. Refreshments can be purchased from the venue*.
And then, towards the end of the month, positioned between the energies of Ostara and the Full Moon in April, we are super excited to bring you Celebrating Spring - a full-day seasonal gathering in association with Mystical Moon Holistics.
Sunday 29th March: 11am to 7pm
Based at the newly refurbished Lakeside Creative Arts Centre in the former Methodist Church on the edge of the woods, we will be making art, creating crafts, planting seeds, sharing food**, soundbathing and closing with a gorgeous release ritual.
The whole day has been created around the Greek Myth of Demeter and Persephone. Find out about the story behind the Earth waking things up slowly in the springtime, and how we can use that energy in our own seasonal cycles.
Same landscape. Two very different rhythms.
