Mabon Balance Ritual
Honour the harvest, embrace the turning
Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, is the moment when light and dark are equal - a reminder that balance is not stillness, but a dance.
What you’ll need:
A candle (gold, orange, or black)
A bowl or basket with something that represents your “harvest” (a piece of fruit, a leaf, a small item from your year’s work)
Paper and pen
The Ritual
Light the candle and take three slow breaths, imagining yourself standing between light and dark.
Place your “harvest” in front of you and say: “I honour what I have grown. I honour what I now release.”
Write down one thing you are grateful for from this year’s harvest, and one thing you are ready to let go of as we turn toward the darker half of the year.
If safe, burn the paper - or you can tear it into tiny pieces and scatter in running water.
Close by placing your hand over your heart and saying: “As the wheel turns, I turn too. Balanced, rooted, and ready.”
Share a photo of your harvest object or what balance means to you in this season. Mabon Blessings xx
