October always brings a Black Ocean of mixed feelings for me.
It's a month of endings and beginnings - of light fading, memories surfacing, and ending with the spookiness of Samhain and the Goth weekend in Whitby.
My first ever podcast, as a guest, went live this week - a huge moment of being seen and heard in a new way. Thanks to Empress Sparkle for inviting me.
The very next day would’ve been my dad’s anniversary of his passing. And in the same breath, I'll be celebrating 19 years since I met my husband on Wednesday - we married five years later.
So yeah, it’s a lot.
The kind of emotional turmoil that only October seems to brew.
And right in the middle of it all, my eye has decided to pop a little blood vessel - because of course it has. Another reminder from the universe, maybe? an encouragement to slow down and see softly, stop pushing for balance, go with the flow and just let the waves carry me.
This month feels like standing in the energy of Indigo Clarity and Violet Contentment - where insight meets acceptance.

Spell for Riding the Rollercoaster
I honour the highs without chasing them.
I honour the lows without fearing them.
I trust the rhythm of my heart and the tides of my soul.
I see clearly, love deeply, and rest in between.
