Kahmeyah’s Call

How My Spirit Goddess Came to Be
Kahmeyah did not begin as an idea.
I didn’t plan her. I didn’t sketch her out in advance or decide what she should represent, the colours she would wear, or the colour of her skin. I painted her instinctively.
And then, once she existed on paper, she gave me her name.
Not as a thought, but as something received quietly.
Kahmeyah.
I didn’t question it. I’ve learned, over time, that when something arrives that cleanly, it doesn’t need interrogating.
Kahmeyah belongs to Indigo. Although she has amber eyes and a green pendant for empathy, she is all about opening the third eye.
Indigo is not about imagination or fantasy. It’s about intuition, pattern recognition, and inner guidance. It’s the space where things stop needing to be explained and start being intrinsically recognised. It’s the same way I intrinsically understand colour.
That’s where Kahmeyah lives.
She is not a character.
She is not a guide who leads you by the hand.
She does not instruct, persuade, or convince.
Kahmeyah appears at the threshold moments in my colour work, between the hues. The pause before clarity. The place where you are no longer who you were, but not yet who you are destined to become.
She doesn’t pull you forward.
She waits until you’re already listening.
After she arrived, a sound followed.
Not something written to be performed or consumed. What emerged was a Call. A frequency. A piece of sound that bypasses thinking and goes straight to sensing - it hits in the chest and takes your breath away.
Kahmeyah’s Call isn’t created to entertain you.
It isn’t background music.
It isn’t something to analyse.
It’s an invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To notice what’s already present beneath the noise.
Some people feel it immediately, particularly when I do the session live with fragrance. It's a sense of recognition, emotion, or inner stillness. Others don’t notice much at first, and that’s fine. Indigo often works quietly. It rearranges things in the background, without drama or announcement.
There is no right way to listen.
You can listen with your eyes closed.
You can listen while walking.
You can listen while doing nothing at all.
Kahmeyah arrived through instinct, not intellect.
She stays through resonance, not effort.
She is part of the bigger picture of my Colour Journey, particularly the Indigo space between resonance and deeper knowing. She belongs to liminal moments, thresholds, and quiet contemplation, like the night sky.
Sometimes, you just need to hear the Call.
Kahmayah’s Call
I am ready to reset.
I release what
no longer fits.
I welcome the
light of change.
I remember who
I am.
I rise.
